Born in Dublin in 1953, is one of Ireland's most exciting artists to emerge in the last ten years. Her artistic career started in fashion business in the 70's and 80's designing and manufacturing clothing. Living in Greystones Co. Wicklow, she exhibits country wide particularly in Kilkenny, Wexford, Galway, Dublin and Wicklow. Her paintings are highly regarded not only in Ireland but in the U.S.A. U.K. and Germany. They hang in both private and corporate collections. She was recently presented on the BBC 2 program "Awash with Colour".

Brenda paints mainly in oil and water-colour. These paintings are full of light and encompass the warmth and glow of her subjects. The tranquillity of composition in the quieter corners of the gardens and rooms reflect the nature of the artist. Her new work has vitality and vigour in light, colour and composition. Working also as a design consultant and her interest in 'Feng Shui' contributes to the collection of ideas in her works. There is no doubt these works have a calming effect on the viewer-the ideal way to escape the stresses of every day life.

Recently she has published a print collection of her paintings and hopes you enjoy them as much as she does.

Brenda exhibits and sells all year round at the Glenview Hotel Gallery, Glen O' Downs, Delgany, Co. Wicklow. Recently the hotel commissioned her to paint a series of paintings depicting "afternoon tea". These paintings now hang in their permanent collection in the Malton lounge. She will also host demonstrations and art courses at the hotel in the autumn.
